White Truffle Mashed Potatoes

Classic mashed potatoes become smooth, rich, and quietly luxurious with TruffLove White Truffle Sauce. Butter, warm cream, and parmesan create a velvety base, while the truffle finish turns a simple side dish into something worthy of a holiday table.

Ingredients

What You’ll Need

900 g Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup warm cream or whole milk
2 tablespoons TruffLove White Truffle Sauce
1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Optional: extra melted butter for serving

Method

How to Make It

  1. Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold salted water.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cook for 18–22 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
  3. Drain the potatoes well and return them to the warm pot for 1 minute to let excess steam evaporate.
  4. Mash the potatoes until smooth.
  5. Add butter and warm cream or milk. Stir gently until creamy.
  6. Fold in parmesan and TruffLove White Truffle Sauce.
  7. Taste and adjust with salt and black pepper.
  8. Spoon into a serving bowl and finish with chives and optional melted butter.
  9. Serve warm.

Pairing Note

Perfect beside steak, roast chicken, turkey, salmon, short ribs, or roasted mushrooms. Stir the White Truffle Sauce in after mashing so the flavour stays smooth and aromatic.
